Refund Policy

AS Autopy stands behind its work. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available, what is excluded, and how to request one.
1. Eligibility
You may request a refund within [Refund Window — e.g., 30 days] of an invoice date if any of the following apply:
- We were unable to begin the engagement due to our scheduling or capacity.
- A material part of the agreed scope was not delivered.
- Findings delivered were demonstrably incorrect due to our error, and the issue cannot be remediated.
2. What is not eligible
- Work that has been completed and delivered in line with the agreed scope.
- Out-of-pocket expenses (court fees, registry fees, third-party data costs) that we have already incurred on your behalf.
- Findings that you disagree with but that are accurately sourced from public records.
- Engagements cancelled after substantial work has been performed (see partial refunds).
3. Partial refunds
Where an engagement is cancelled mid-way, refunds are calculated as the fixed fee less the value of work already performed and expenses already incurred. We will share a short reconciliation memo with the refund decision.
4. Cancellation policy
You may cancel an engagement at any time by written notice to sup@autopyas.site. Cancellations made before research has started are eligible for a full refund of any pre-paid fees, minus payment-processor charges where applicable.
5. Refund process
- Send a refund request to sup@autopyas.site including the invoice number and a brief explanation.
- We review the request within [Review Window — e.g., 5 business days] and reply with a decision.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within [Processing Window — e.g., 10 business days].
6. Method of refund
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. We do not issue cash or third-party transfers.
7. Disputes
If we cannot agree on a refund outcome, the dispute resolution provisions of our Terms of Service apply, including the governing law of [Jurisdiction].
